Profiles

A graduate is qualified for research and applied activities in all specializations of physical geography, then in geomorphology, hydrology, climatology, meteorology, geoecology, biogeography, pedogeography, general and regional geography. He is competent to solve complex problems of an integration of the natural environment and the society.

He has experience with GIS, remote sensing and other methods of geoinformatics. Graduates can turn their knowledge in research and survey institutes, universities, state administration and organizations concerned with investigation and research of the dynamics of physical geographical processes and changes of the environment related to human activities, including natural hazards and risks and the protection of nature and landscape.
