Profiles

Graduates of the curriculum of the inter-university Double Degree in Sociology of Contemporary Societies will gain in-depth knowledge of the sociology and anthropology of the European Union and European social citizenship in a global context regarding to urban anthropology, population change, sociology of the family and sociology of emotions. The student will acquire the knowledge and skills to design and conduct sociological and anthropological research, analyse and interpret data on social science issues, work in national and international teams and be a member of interdisciplinary teams.

Their skills can be applied in academia, governmental and non-governmental organizations, education, culture, marketing companies, public opinion research, social change research, urban planning, political sphere and media.
