They are familiar with the current condition and dynamics of contemporary societies and with the most relevant social processes. Graduates are qualified to use a wide range of methods of social research and to apply these in complex research designs.

They have been trained to prepare and carry out complex research projects, to collect, analyse, and interpret empirical data, and to use the conclusions of their research to formulate practical recommendations.
