Graduates have acquired a comprehensive education in Korean philology including the ability to interpret literary as well as specialized texts in the Korean language, in which they have good writing and speaking skills. They have substantial knowledge of Korean literature, history, culture, and religion that can be applied in research, translation, diplomacy and culture.
Moreover, graduates are qualified to continue in doctoral studies. Possible careers outside the academia include public administration, cultural institutions, media and business.
Graduates are, furthermore, qualified to provide consultancy services to organisations working with Korean partners in the field of commerce or culture and to assist in their projects in the Far East.
