Profiles

Sociocultural Anthropology graduates gain advanced education in humanities and social sciences that cover a large area of anthropological theory and methodology. Graduates are trained in conducting qualitative social research employing a range of methods (from ethnography to textual analysis).

They have a grasp of critical social and cultural phenomena and are able to mediate (conflicting) perspectives of different social actors. Based on this acquired and situated knowledge the graduates can articulate expert opinion for social partners and eventually outline solutions for critical issues of contemporary societies.
