Graduates of the specialization Philosophical Anthropology are specialized analysts with outstanding language skills and expert understanding of the Western (or European) intellectual tradition. The specialized knowledge of philosophical as well as of religious and cultural tradition of the European Occident supplemented by a socio-cultural-anthropological context provides the graduate with means of analytical research of contemporary cultural, political, social, or religious phenomena.
The graduate understands the role and relevance of intellectual tradition in identity formation and analyzes the roots of contemporary conflicts and of socially relevant tensions.
