Graduates of the specialization Historical Anthropology will have specialized knowledge of social and cultural phenomena in the past, including (inter-)community conflicts, history of ideologies, social exclusion and symbolic behaviour of historical actors. They will be able to interpret these phenomena from the perspectives of various anthropological concepts and evaluate their impact on contemporary policies and socio-cultural identities.
Thanks to their diploma thesis research, they will be able to study specialized history literature in original languages, interpret historical records and write various forms of both specialized and popularizing texts.
