Profiles

The graduate gains a thorough knowledge of media and media communication, including methods relevant to the analysis of social phenomena or methods of research in media and communications. The graduate learns considerable skills in the field of the semiotic, narratological and rhetorical analysis of media messages and media communication.

The graduate is able to perform a literary analysis of the text with regard to all of its semantic layers. The graduate is able to carefully and thoroughly analyze literary text and is well versed in the terminology of classical poetics and rhetoric.

The graduate is able to resourcefully and skilfully understand the semiotic system of communication and is capable to make convincing, consistent, informed and competent public appearances, being also aware of her / his professional responsibilities.
