The Graduate of Intensive Care program has acquired competence to deliver and coordinate basic, specialty and superspecialty nursing care in intensive care units, in accordance with national law and local policices. He/she is competent to decide, within the limits given by current law, to deliver intensive nursing care within the competences gained by finishing the aforementioned study program.

The study program emphasizes – apart from practical competencies – the development of knowledge of research methodology. The program graduate is well motivated to shift the borders of the known forward and enroll into postgraduate studies.
