Profiles

Graduates are prepared for work in the multilingual region of East-Central Europe and in organizations focusing on this region. Their competence in the language of their selected specialisation is equivalent to the B2 level.

Graduates have skills in information searching in various sources in Czech and in the language of their specialisation and processing the information for various professional purposes. They also have basic skills in editorial work.

Graduates have a solid grounding in the socio-political and literary development in East-Central Europe over the last two centuries. They are well informed about the national area of their specialisation and closely familiar with its geography, culture and socio-political situation.

Moreover, graduates are equipped with the fundamentals of linguistics, literary science and historiography.
