Graduates have comprehensive knowledge of world and European as well as Czech history, and can analyse general and specific topics in the context of historical development, independently as well as from a comparative perspective. They are fully acquainted with the subject area of historical sciences and related disciplines both in domestic and international contexts.

They are qualified for careers in national, regional and local museums, archives, offices and institutions of cultural heritage and tourism on all levels including European, and also in multinational and supranational institutions, organisations and companies (related to diplomacy, media and business).
