Graduates have a theoretical grounding necessary for understanding the problems of Latin America and its societies that began in the 16th century drawing on pre-Columbian communities and immigration from other continents. Graduates are able to expand their knowledge with new facts. Such knowledge is applicable in education, culture, state administration and business.
Graduates have expertise in political science and, to an advanced degree, in political theory and the formation of political identities. They have advanced knowledge of Czech political thought in the second half of the 20th and the early 21st century. They understand the formation of political identities and the role of religious and national identities in global politics.
