Graduate of the Master's Degree Program "Parasitology" has a comprehensive knowledge of parasitic organisms (protists, helminths, arthropods), especially their morphology, ecology, systematic classification, molecular biology, biochemistry and physiology, pathogenicity, epidemiology and diagnostics. The graduate has practical experience and skills with general biological work methodology, including specialized molecular, biochemical and immunological techniques.

The graduate is able to formulate and experimentally test scientific hypotheses and solve theoretical and practical questions related to the detection and identification of parasites, their biology, interactions with hosts and drugs. The graduate will find position in basic and applied research in biological disciplines, in diagnostic laboratories or in the commercial sphere.
