The graduate has a fair knowledge of geology, natural resources (mineral resources, soil, water, atmosphere), exploitation of mineral resources, environmental protection, and waste management. The graduate is acquainted with legal aspects of resources exploitation and of environmental protection.
The graduate is capable of assessing the value of individual resources, methods of their exploitation, very knowledgeable about the basic mining and mineral processing methods, able to monitor the exploitation and continuously assess ecological burden and impacts on the environment. The graduate is able to evaluate large and complex datasets with geological, hydrogeological, climatological and environmental content.
The graduate can assess practical aspects of utilization of natural resources including legislative conditions.
