In addition to advanced inorganic chemistry the graduate took courses in all chemical disciplines, courses of synthetic methods and courses focusing on investigations into physico-chemical properties of inorganic and organometallic compounds and materials. On the basis of the obtained theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, the graduate is able to solve problems concerning relations between the structure, properties and reactivity of inorganic compounds with regard to their practical utilisation, including their design and synthesis.
The graduate may thus find a position in laboratories focusing on both fundamental and applied research in all chemistry disciplines, particularly in the fields of inorganic and organometallic materials and catalysts as well as compounds suitable for applications in biomedicine.
