The graduate has a high level knowledge of microbiology supported with versatile background in molecular biology and biochemistry. The graduate is experienced in experimental methods of microbiology, molecular genetics, bioinformatics and biochemistry and also in biophysical methods.

The graduate is able to formulate a scientific problem, to evaluate, interpret and present the obtained data. He/she can be employed in both basic and applied research with focus on biology and biomedicine as well as in the industrial sector.
