They are accustomed to regularly studying research literature and to searching scientific databases. They can propose short-term research projects, select an optimal experimental approach and provide an objective analysis of the experimental results.

The graduates can be employed in both basic and applied research, in various specialized laboratories such as DNA diagnostic, clinical genetic and cytogenetic and forensic laboratories and in the industrial sector.
