The graduate is qualified to do independent research in ecology. This includes identification and analysis of key research questions, design of experimental and data collection techniques and analytical tools for their handling, up to the final presentation of the results.

The qualification also includes essential theoretical concepts on which the discipline and its methodology are based. The graduate has a command of English sufficient to do research at research institutions outside the Czech Republic.
