The graduate of the follow-up master's program of Theoretical and Evolutionary Biology will become an expert on evolutionary processes and their mechanisms and on theoretical questions related to the origin of life, its functioning and general principles. The graduate gains knowledge about the history of evolutionary concepts and the changing paradigms of scientific thinking.

Depending on the diploma thesis, the graduate will be acquainted with statistical-mathematical or philosophical-historical methodology, thanks to which the given hypothesis can be tested. The graduate can work in positions of standard biological research, in philosophical or historical institutions, or in biotechnology companies, but also as a teacher or popularizer of natural sciences.
