Publication at First Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Faculty of Arts |
2008

Abstract

The publication concerns three topics as stated in its title: Participation in Education, Funding of Schools and the Employment Situation of Graduates. The first part deals with the development of participation in education of various age groups in the CR and its regions, and with the ways in which it is affected by demographic developments.

The influence of the two factors on the total number of pupils and school performance is then explored. The second part of the publication contains an analysis of the developments in the funding of schools in various regions of the CR over the last five years.

Various economic indicators are explained that can be used to analyse the development at various levels of education in all 14 regions. The final part focuses on issues related to transfer from education to employment and on the situation of graduates in the labour market.

Moreover, this part also concerns an analysis of the development after 2000 and how it differs in various regions of the CR.
