Abstract

There is a broad consensus about the existence of a gap between educational research and practice. The design-based research approach was used as tool to improve our understanding of this barrier and diminish it.

We have designed and tested model of teachers? continuing professional development during a two year partnership between School of Education of Charles University Prague and 12 elementary schools in Prague.
