Abstract
Text points out how topical the issue of (the lack of) discipline in the Czech Republic and around the world is. It provides research data showing the extent and seriousness of the lack of discipline at Prague primary schools in the late 1990s.
The article refers to functions of school discipline and brings forward possible measures in the field of prevention and dealing with indiscipline at schools.
