The contribution presents a home education as the possibility of natural and effective implementation of environmental education. In the introduction author presents a brief history of home education and explains its characteristics.
The basis of contribution is a qualitative probe, which shows that pupils from the homeschooling are spending in the outdoor environment more time than its peers. And teaching (both EV, but also other subjects) realized in nature and in close contact with animals and plants is possible.
The experience of families of the home education is not offered as a universal solution, but as a source of inspiration. Home education is an interesting and open field for future pedagogical research - particularly in the area of research and development cooperation between families and schools.
