Synthesis of Mono(perfluoroalkyl) Cyclodextrins via Cross Metathesis.

Abstract

Rutheniumcarbene complex catalyzed cross metathesis of monoallyl -, -, and -cyclodextrins with perfluoroalkylpropenes resulted in the formation of the corresponding perfluoroalkylated cyclodextrins.
