Abstract
The article evaluates the photography exhibition of the concrete artist Jan Kubíček, which introduced his works from 1950s to mid 1980s. The painter and graphic artist, known above all as the creator of geometric abstraction, has been all his life taking photos.
His sight in photography proclaim his interest in geometry, accident and ideas of generalizing reflected in neo-constructivism art and also confirm parallel full-valued development of the specific possibilities of the new medium – photography.
