Abstract
Importance of cytogenetic and molecular genetic methods in diagnostics of hematologic disorders has increased over the last years. Therefore, current hematologists should know at least elemental principles of these methods related to their specialization.
This chapter describes basic cytogenetic and molecular genetic methods, that can be used to analyze hematologic disorders and shows their applications in hematology.
