Experiments on high quality grid oscillating in superfluid 4He at very low temperatures

Abstract

A copper-mesh grid oscillating was investigated in superfluid 4He for temperatures from 10 to 1500 mK at a pressure of 5 bar. The experiments have confirmed the existence of two critical velocities.
