Abstract
The book presents the very first independent publication of the research papers of an important Czech linguist Pavel Novák. His influential ideas still open doors to a non-trivial thinking about language and linguistics - however, they are not well known to the contemporary readers because they are scattered over many journals and proceedings or they remained hidden in hardly acquirable research reports.
The main aim of the book is to provide a possibility for contemporary and future readers to get to know the work of Pavel Novák.
