Ultrafine grain development in magnesium alloys by extruding, ECAP and swaging

Abstract

Several commercial magnesium alloys were processed by various techniques of severe plastic deformation, in particular: hot extrusion, ECAP and swaging. Microstructure of these materials was investigated by light microscopy.
