Abstract
Publication 40 personalities includes articles of authors from the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Portugal and Spain which were written in the frame of EU project Grundtvig with the name SETIP (Senior Education and training Internet Platform). Articles are dedicated to the outstanding personalities of the European countries involved into the project chosen by participants.
The aim of the publication is to outline chosen outstanding personalities in the involved countries to the partners and also explain their life and work within history and culture context. The chapter The Greatest Czech Personality deals with a life and work of John Amos Komensky.
