Abstract
The book consists of three parts: The first part comprises a study in the extent of a monograph including five chapters on the manuscripts and editions of anonymous commentary, on the question of its authorship and on its place in the context of late ancient philosophy (author: V. Němec).
The second part comprises the Greek text and Czech translation of commentary (authors: F. Karfík, V.
Němec). The third part represents a comprehensive commentary on the text (author: V.
Němec). The book, especially the introductory study and the commentary, presents the outcomes of multiyear research work on the anonymous commentary and in many respects amends the results of existing research on the issue.
