Intertextuality of Kondrotas and Kundera: Metaphorical or Metonymical?

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to scrutinize novels of S. T.

Kondrotas and M. Kundera through the prism of the strategy of intertexual novel reading.

In this article is used method, elaborated by Gérard Genette, which define connections between two texts and proves that metonymical approach prevails in the novels of S. T.

Kondratas and M. Kundera.
