A critical review of the Chabada's book. A comparison is made with the only alternative monograph on Scotus in Cezhc or Slovak language authored by S.

Sousedík. Unlike Sousedík, Chabada focuses chiefly on Scotus's epistemology, which is a valuable contribution; however, his approach lacks the systemtaic speculative depth characteristic for Sousedík's book.
