Abstract

This mostly informative paper presents the first results and outcomes of the ESF project of Charles University New Ways to Science and Technology Education. At the beginning the authors deals with science information growth and on the opposite side with the lack of courses for professional development of in-service teachers.

The solutions they offer is in the series of interdisciplinary courses, provided by Charles University in cooperation with regional training centres, developed on the base of project partnership at selected secondary schools.
