Democratic political unity and liberal pluralism. Contra Carl Schmitt

Abstract

The paper argues there is a plausible and viable pluralistic theory of democratic unity of the people which avoid itself to the false dichotomy between the depoliticized universal democracy of mankind and radical democratic dictatorship argued by Carl Schmitt.
