L-rhamnose and L-fucose suppress cancer growth in mice

Abstract

We examined the effect of intraperitoneally administered L-fucose and L-rhamnose on mice bearing solid Ehrlich tumour. We found that both deoxyhexoses exert a significant suppressive effect on tumour growth and that they prolong mouse survival.
