Abstract

The book deals with a question of czech cultural identity on the background of czech history and philosophy on one side, but also from the point of view of actual global problems on the other. The search for czech identity is considerd more as an idea or a program, which is supposed to be discoverd always anew, rather than as an arbitrary historical decision.
