Printing of Polish Banknotes in Czechoslovakia in the Middle of the Twentieth Century

Abstract

The article gathers pieces of information from Czech archives on the preparation and printing of Polish banknotes in Prague in the middle of the 20th century. The mechanism of the preparation of this legal tender deepens our knowledge on the monetary reform that took place in Poland in 1950 and anticipated the Czechoslovak reform in 1953.
