Civic Forum and the Preparation of the Electoral Law in Czechoslovakia in 1990

Abstract

The author deals with the problem of preparation of the Electoral Law in Czechoslovakia in 1990. The article is mainly concentrated on internal discussions in pro-democratic movement Civic Forum (CF) about this question.

The author shows conflicts of interests of main groups of experts and politicians in CF. The article also analyses process of passage of the Electoral Law in Czechoslovak Federal Assembly.
