On the Process of the Creation of the Standard Variety. The Position of the Norm Authorities in Language Management

Abstract

The article deals with the role of the norm authoroties contributing to the constitution of Standard German in schools where German is taught as a foreign language. Several selected variables are analyzed.

The methodological basis of the research is Language Management Theory.
