The article deals with the question, who is "Petrus Borboniensis" mentioned in the documents of the imperial chancellery. It states that this person must be identical with the duke Louis II of Bourbon.
It explains Louis'' stays at the court of Charles IV and proposes a solution of the double name of Louis-Pierre de Bourbon.
