Prophylaxis of venous thromboembolism in obstetrics

Abstract

Pregnancy and puerperism are a physiological hypercoagulable state. The risk of venous thromboembolism is further increased in the presence of additional risk factors of VTE.

There is the recommendations how to reduce of VTE in this article.
