Abstract
This article presents a model of dependent origination of body and mental phenomena, which according to the ethical-psychological system of Abhidhamma creates a stream of human consciousness and within it our everyday experience of the world and of ourselves. It shows on examples how this model can be used in psychotherapeutic practice 1) for understanding of mechanisms leading to cycling of undesirable behavior and experiencing and 2) for subsequent inducing psychotherapeutic change.
