The paper presents an overview of key clinical nursing mentor praxis competences. It specifies their professional, psycho-diagnostical, communicative, organizing and leadership, diagnostical and interventional, consulting and consultational competences and also the ability in evaluating his own actions.
Furthermore the paper includes the key results of a questionnaire between the UK 2. LF students.
The results contribute to the ability to reflect the work of academic workers of UK 2. LF and the mentors of clinical nursing praxis.
Also the results are resources for innovative approaches in the teaching process and the Certified course for mentors of clinical nursing praxis, conducted by Department of Nursing Care UK 2 LF and FN Motol in cooperation with the Department of Education and psychology under the Science Education University Hradec Králové within the CZ.2.17/3.1.00/33270 project called Innovation of the practical teaching of nursing.
