For successful achievement of educational goals approved by the EU and set down in the education curricula of the CR, it is necessary to prepare teachers who can give their students important skills and competencies. The situation is illustrated by example of education of chemistry teachers at Charles University in Prague.
The practice of teaching skills acquisition during undergraduate studies includes pedagogical and psychological lessons, didactics of chemistry, teachers training and offer of specialized courses. Special importance in the preparation of teachers take their own creative work, including the application of modern educational methods and the creation of multimedia tools.
