Abstract
Prologue to a bilingual edition of the German version of Mácha´ s May, translated by Bernard Rambousek in 1871. This German version was considered lost.
The author of the prologue is, at the same time, the finder of a copy of Rambousek´s manuscript, which has remained unnoticed, durign last 100 years, in Czech National Archive.
