Abstract

The study deals with realism and reality from the 1940s to the 1960s which played an important role more generally with regard to the issue of the continuity of Czech surrealism during the 1950s and 1960s , from Havlíček’s Skutečnost snu (The Reality of Dreams, 1950) to Effenberger’s book Realita a poesie (Reality and Poetry, 1969).
