Abstract
An article closing as an epilogue the bilingual edition of Mácha's May shows how variable are methods used in translating poetical works to Czech and Spanish languages in 19th a 20th century. The author refers to very known works, i. g.
Eugene Oneguine by Pushkine, or Shakespeare's Sonnets, but first of all, he pays attention to translations of Mácha's long poem May. At the same time, he has for object a historical evolution of traslating methods of poetical works in Spain and in Hispanic America.
