Abstract
The study demonstrates the relation between economics and imagination. Within the frame of economic theory, economists do not work with the category of imagination.
Despite this fact, they are doubtlessly the bearers of imagination and participate in its development. An economist deliberately partakes in the creation of new social visions, develops economic theories and defines the long-term economic aims to be reached.
His creativity is based on imagination, ideation and imaginativeness.
