An outline of the development of the Ukrainian literature in the 19th and 20th century

Abstract

The contribution attempted to map the development of the Ukrainian literature in the 19th and 20th century. Attention was paid to the imbalanced development of literature and its causes, as well as to the repeated conflict of traditionalism and the new tendencies infiltrating into the Ukrainian areas.
